Supplying Success is a local non-profit helping our district's families in need by providing children their school supplies for a successful start to the new school year. To participate, please register online by July 1: https://forms.gle/CYSgYDBugWH5AsDp7
A group of NRMS 5th grade students took the initiative to leave a letter with a bag on their neighbors’ doors asking for canned food donations for their school collection. A week later, the students and their families drove around the neighborhoods to collect all the food. The students collected 1,600 non perishable canned food items over the first two weeks of November. Overall, more than 5,100 items were collected by the whole school. The food was donated to the North Royalton Office of Aging/North Royalton Food Bank.
At North Royalton Middle School, 7th graders have a new STEM offering called Flight and Design. Teachers Samantha Brown and Don Filips provide every 7th grade student a hands-on experience in programming and piloting drones. Students explore the science and learn about the emerging career opportunities that drones are creating.
