It's Already the
3rd Quarter!

I hope everyone was able to stay warm over the cold weather days. As always, we have a very busy next couple of weeks. Second quarter grades will be official on Friday this week; third quarter has officially begun. Students have a new opportunity to earn BEAR Way tickets on the bus, and soon, the cafeteria. We will open up our brand new BEAR Way shop in February to offer our kids an opportunity to use their tickets to “purchase” NR gear, snacks, fidgets, and gift cards. A few of our students have already told me they are excited about the opportunity!

As always, please do not hesitate to contact your child's teacher, school counselor, grade level principal or me with any questions.

Thank you,

Erin

BEAR Way tickets are now out!

8th to 9th Grade Scheduling

8th grade families: Though I know it’s hard to believe, current 8th grade students will start the scheduling process for high school later this month. For specifics on dates and events, please click here

Leadership Assemblies/Conference

On Wednesday, Jan. 29, NRMS and 12 visiting schools will welcome Dee Hankins! Dee Hankins helps students get through challenging situations with a new sense of hope by recognizing their resilience. Dee’s dynamic and masterful approach to storytelling takes the audience on an authentic and emotional journey. After spending 18 years in foster care and watching his daughter battle brain cancer, Dee Hankins knows that life is full of unexpected events, but our resilience can turn those experiences into an incredible life lesson.
