Nearly 200 fourth graders were bused to North Royalton Middle School (NRMS) on Tuesday, October 1, for Spirit Night. NRMS cheerleaders and W.E.B. (Where Everyone Belongs) leaders welcomed the three school buses filled with students to the campus.
Students enjoyed watching the seventh-grade football team take on the Nordonia Knights and the chance to go to the concession stand, many for the first time at Serpentini Stadium. The North Royalton High School Bears’ softball team ran the concessions for the event.
“This was a wonderful opportunity for our students to experience a middle school extracurricular activity,” said Principal Kirk Pavelich, North Royalton Elementary School. “We feel it makes the transition to the next level that much smoother when an event like this allows our students to visit the building, meet student leaders and middle school staff, all while enjoying the chance to root on the Bears.”
This marked the ninth time elementary students have participated in Fourth Grade Spirit Night.
