CV CC student

Alexa Braun is a junior at North Royalton High School, currently enrolled in the Dental Assisting program at CVCC under the guidance of Lisa Theodore. Seeking a fresh and unique educational experience beyond traditional high school, Alexa found CVCC to be the perfect fit after meeting Ms. Theodore and engaging with enthusiastic students in the program. Her time at CVCC has solidified her desire to become a dental hygienist.

CVCC has profoundly influenced Alexa. It has not only helped her identify her career aspirations but also introduced her to some of her closest friends. She has gained valuable skills such as responsibility and public speaking. One of her favorite classroom experiences was making impressions with her classmates, which she found both amusing and messy.

“Alexa is a well-rounded student who consistently assists her peers, whether in the lab or with computer skills. As one of the class lab managers, she efficiently maintains inventory and ensures smooth lab operations with her organizational skills. It is evident that Alexa looks forward to her senior year at CVCC and is excited to achieve even more,” says Ms. Theodore.

Beyond her academic pursuits, Alexa recently began working at Glacial Dental, where she continues to grow in dental assisting. In her free time, she enjoys reading, drawing, and spending time with her family, especially her niece and nephew. Alexa’s advice to future CVCC students is to prioritize time management and find a study routine that works best for them.
