North Royalton High School Students Inducted into National Honor Society

On September 26, North Royalton High School (NRHS) inducted the newest members into their National Honor Society (NHS). The ceremony was held in the Performing Arts Center and included a welcome from Jonathan Pavelich, current NHS president.  School Board President Dr. John Kelly spoke to the audience about the fact that everyone is going to encounter obstacles in life, but it’s your desire to achieve your goals and believing in yourself that sees you through the rough patches.  Officers Grady Bokoch, Arnav Gopinath, Olivia Kovach, Kripa Kumaran and Sarah Burdick spoke to the students about the pillars of leadership, service, scholarship and character.  Pavelich introduced the inductees.  The NRHS PTA sponsored a reception after the ceremony.

This reputation is the result of years of commitment on the part of everyone involved. Through NHS chapter service activities, members maintain and extend the qualities that won them selection. Cresta Mellon is the teacher advisor of the NRHS National Honor Society.

“These National Honor Society members are role models among our student body,” said Principal Sean Osborne.  “They contribute not only academically, but are involved in activities that improve our community. I know that they will continue to represent North Royalton High School well and will aspire to be the best versions of themselves.”
