Permanent Car Pick Up Process for 2023-2024

As we prepare for the new school year, we are asking all of our families who plan to pick up their children from school on a DAILY basis to take a moment and fill out this form at the link below. If your child is going to ride the bus, you do not need to complete this form as it is only intended for those who will CONSISTENTLY be in the pick up line at the end of each day.

PLEASE NOTE: The new hang tags this year will look like the ones pictured below. Previous year's hang tags can be discarded as our numbering system will reflect the new tags.

The hang tags your family receives will indicate your assigned Family ID number. Please have these hang tags always displayed from your rearview mirror during dismissal and provide a hang tag to those authorized persons who will regularly be picking up your children.

New this year, school age parents will be receiving a PURPLE tag and preschool parents will be receiving a GOLD tag. The reason is because school age and preschool will both dismiss at 3:30 p.m. At the end of each day, we will direct preschool to the smaller lot to the right upon entering Drive #1. School age parents will be directed to proceed toward the cafeteria doors, pulling up all the way to the sign indicating the pick up area. Parents with preschoolers AND school age children will receive a GOLD tag and pick all of their children up from this area.

Please have these hang tags always displayed from your rearview mirror during dismissal and provide a hang tag to any authorized person who will be regularly picking up your children. As school age families line up along the curb and preschool families line up in the smaller lot to the right, numbers will be checked off when they are visible from your rearview mirror. School age children will be dismissed from the cafeteria entrance (#6) in that order while preschool students will be dismissed, with the assistance of an aide, at the front of the building.

For the safety of our students loading into vehicles, there is to be NO passing of other cars in the line. Please be patient so that we keep everyone safe. Once you have picked up your student, the school age line will then leave the parking lot by exiting via Driveway #2 while preschool parents will exit via Driveway #1 with the assistance of our School Resource Officer.

Our office staff will be contacting families who are registering for the permanent pickup process to distribute these specially designed purple and gold hang tags prior to the start of the school year. THANK YOU!
