Today, four 4H girls who raise chickens and quail presented to the first graders and shared their knowledge and experiences in hatching eggs and what goes into the hatching process! The four girls, Kinsley, Leah, Maisie and Emma taught what an incubator is, what happens within the incubator to mimic the momma hen and the length of time it takes quail and chickens to hatch. The girls provided pictures from their own experiences and answered questions the first graders might have had. This was the kick off for the first graders who will be hatching next week within their classrooms.

Over the weekend, the four NRHS Bands participated in the OMEA District Adjudicated event and all four bands received a Superior Rating qualifying to participate at the State Finals. This is a tremendous accomplishment - and this is the result of a lot of hard work by the band staff and students. No other band program in Ohio has four bands participating in OMEA District Adjudicated Events, and no other program has four bands qualifying and participating in State Finals. One of the adjudicators even made a point to tell the students how special the North Royalton High School Band Program is, and that North Royalton is known throughout the state for its band program! Take a look at this judge’s comment sheet!
