PTA Award Winners

The North Royalton PTA held its annual Founder's Night Celebration on April 18, recognizing the exceptional contributions of individuals who have made a significant impact on the lives of children in the school district.

The highlight of the event, held at the North Royalton High School Media Center, was the presentation of the Ohio PTA Achievement Awards to seven deserving recipients:

  • Rebekah Kelly (North Royalton Elementary School)

  • Paula Nather (North Royalton Elementary School)

  • Lisa Nosal (North Royalton Middle School)

  • Erin Calabrese (North Royalton Middle School)

  • Nelly Kelley (North Royalton High School)

  • Anna Hayes - North Royalton Early Childhood PTA

  • Karie Hulvalchick - North Royalton PTA Council

"These dedicated individuals have demonstrated outstanding service to our children and our community," said President Karie Hulvalchick, North Royalton PTA Council. "Their unwavering commitment to supporting and nurturing our students is truly inspiring."

In addition to the Ohio PTA Achievement Awards, Chris May was honored with the prestigious National PTA Life Achievement Award on behalf of the North Royalton PTA Council. This highest honor from the nation's largest child advocacy organization is presented to individuals who embody a daily commitment to the well-being of children.

During the ceremony, organized by Cristina Hornik and Laurie Weiser, Dr. John Kelly, Anne Reinkober, and Heidi Dolezal were recognized for their many years of service to the students and community of North Royalton.

"The Founder's Night Celebration is a cherished tradition that allows us to express our gratitude to the exceptional individuals who have made a lasting impact on our children's lives," said Superintendent Michael Laub, North Royalton City Schools. "We are truly fortunate to have such dedicated advocates for our students and their success."

The event served as a reminder of the vital role that the PTA plays in supporting the education and well-being of children in the North Royalton community.
