The 13th annual North Royalton Health Fair and Family Expo is Saturday, November 4 from 8 a.m. - noon at North Royalton High School. The day is sponsored by North Royalton City Schools, City of North Royalton, Southwest General, and University Hospitals.
Event highlights include:
· Complimentary pancake and sausage breakfast
· Vitalant community blood drive
· North Royalton 5K Bear Run (registration available at www.hermescleveland.com)
· North Royalton student Turkey Trot with food drive (benefits the North Royalton Food Bank)
· North Royalton school mascot, Gibby, student face painting and therapy dog, Luna
· North Royalton police, fire and safety departments, safety vehicles and University Hospitals Safe Kids Coalition
· Representatives from Southwest General—providing free health information and screenings, including physical therapy screenings for pain, injury and balance
· Southwest Paws therapy dog
· Representatives from University Hospital’s Parma Medical Center—providing health information and free health screenings, including blood pressure, non-fasting cholesterol, glucose, hearing screening, stroke assessments and CPR Demonstration
· VA Northeast Ohio Healthcare and Cuyahoga County Veterans Service Representatives
· Flu shots provided by Meijer Pharmacy
· Friends of City Dogs Cleveland and Kitten Krazy Pet Rescue and Adoptions
