During the North Royalton PTA Founder’s Night on April 20, North Royalton Elementary School Principal Kirk Pavelich was presented the National PTA Life Achievement Award.  The National Award is the highest honor from the nation’s largest child advocacy organization. It is presented to those who daily live out their commitment to children.  The award was presented by NRES PTA President Kim Ponting.  “Mr. Pavelich supported our PTA and students over the years and is always willing to make a connection with the students by attending sporting events and Cedar Point,” said Ponting.

In addition, North Royalton High School Principal Sean Osborne was recognized for his outstanding work with the PTA and high school students with the Ohio PTA Achievement Award. Ashley DeAngelis and Cristina Hornik presented the award to Osborne.  The Ohio PTA Achievement Award was created to provide an opportunity to honor those individuals who have rendered outstanding service to children and youth.  DeAngelis commented that Osborne has the ability to multitask by "being a great family man, an alumnus, supporter of athletics, a band parent, show choir parent, a great leader and is the best friend the PTA can have."
