The North Royalton Middle School (NRMS) Science Olympiad Teams competed in the Science Olympiad regional competition on Saturday, March 4 at Baldwin Wallace University. Seven teams competed in the competition. North Royalton had two teams that competed and they came in second place.
Each team competed in several different topics and builds. Topics of the events, that tested both knowledge and building skills, included flight, wheeled vehicle, crime busters, dynamic planet, sounds of music, bridges, anatomy and physiology, and meteorology.
Science Olympiad is under the direction of Nicholas Wysocki and Tricia Cline. “We are so proud of these students," said both advisors.
The state competition will be April 29 at Ohio State University.
