COLLEGE ENTRANCE TESTING SCHEDULE

  • North Royalton High School Code: 361-329

  1. ACT

    • Recommended: Spring of junior year

    • Skills Measured: English, Reading, Math, Science Reasoning, and optional Writing

    • Details: Offered multiple times per year.

    • Visit the ACT Website for dates and deadlines.

  2. SAT

    • Recommended: Juniors take it during the school day in spring.

    • Skills Measured: Critical Reading, Writing, and Math Reasoning

    • Details: Offered multiple times per year.

    • Visit the SAT Website for dates and deadlines.

  3. PSAT/NMSQT (Grade 11)

    • Testing: October

    • Purpose: SAT practice and scholarship qualification

    • Registration: Via a Google Form in early September; Approximately $18 fee added to student fees.

    • Counts Toward: Senior Portfolio Activity

  4. PSAT 9 & PSAT/NMSQT (Grades 9 & 10)

    • Testing: October

    • Details: Free for all 9th and 10th graders.

  5. ASVAB (Grades 10-12)

    • Testing: Fall at NRHS

    • Purpose: Career aptitude test with no military obligation.

    • Details: Free, but registration is required in the counseling office.

  • Start Early: Begin applications in September and aim to finish by Thanksgiving.
