College Credit Plus (CCP)

College Credit Plus (CCP)

Ohio's CCP program lets high school students take college courses at participating Ohio colleges/universities. Admission criteria and registration procedures vary by institution. Most courses are free unless the student withdraws late from or fails a course, in which case the costs are charged to the student/parent.

  5. Determine eligibility: Each college has its own eligibility criteria for the CCP program. Consult a college CCP advisor or visit the college's website for specific details.

  6. Receive an email indicating "acceptance" or "conditional acceptance".

Conditional Acceptance to the college's College Credit Plus Program means a student is provisionally admitted to the College Credit Plus (CCP) program. This status is typically granted if the student meets some, but not all, of the admission requirements. The student must fulfill specific conditions, such as completing certain courses or achieving required test scores, to gain full admission to the program.

  7. Once fully 'accepted' (not 'conditionally) make a scheduling appointment with your NRHS counselor to discuss the schedule for next year and to get the Authorization to Attend Form for CCP completed.

  8. Meet with your CCP counselor at the college to schedule your exact classes.

  9. Check out all required text(s) from the NRHS media center prior to contacting the college bookstore or before using a textbook voucher.  Textbooks for CCP sHERE  THE NRHS MEDIA CENTER MUST BE CHECKED FOR ALL REQUIRED TEXT(S) BEFORE CONTACTING THE CCP INSTITUTION BOOKSTORE OR OTHER VENDOR.
